To start this week, I would like to take up again the motherhood subject and get to the end of pregnancy. I would like to say to you that I’m very happy to share with all of you other kind of topic besides fashion, specially this one because I was pregnant not too long ago and I can tell that it is the best thing in the woman’s life for sure. I have to admit that I was very lucky during my pregnancy. I didn’t have nausea or morning sickness that is very common during the first three months. After the first trimester I began to practice Bikram Yoga again, of course, there are some postures that are completely impossible when you are expecting but fortunately they have a pregnancy series. To me, it was very helpful to practice this kind of yoga, it opened my hips and the labor was easier. I practiced my concentration and I learned how to turn to breathing and relaxation in the worst moments during labor. I had a natural birth with any chemicals or epidural in only 4 hours!, so I can say that I’m a lucky woman.

This last trimester is what I like the most, even when we are very tired because the weight of the belly, he’s moving along mostly at night; we can’t sleep but to me is the best part of the pregnancy. Fewer days left for delivery and we feel very anxious and the only thing we desire is to meet the newborn, because I can firmly assure you that there is no love greater than this one. He/She will be the best of our life.

At the beginning of the seventh month our baby’s eyelids slowly open, and a new sense blossoms. Our baby can open and close his eyes, and even in our womb, the pupils will grow larger or smaller in response to changes in brightness. Our baby’s taste buds are well developed, and he can respond to sweet and sour tastes by changing the expression on his face. His body is growing faster than his head, but inside his skull, his brain is enlarging rapidly. The various sections begin to take on their lifetime roles, such as memory and speech.

At the eighth month our antibodies help our baby to develop immunity to infections. From our immune system, our baby is acquiring immunity to many infections as the protective antibodies in our blood pass through the placenta into his/her blood. This immunity lasts for a few months after birth, until he/she develops the resistance to illness. Breastfeeding can enhance the temporary immunity our baby, getting from us, additional antibodies.

At ninth month as the big day is getting close, our baby is almost ready for the debut. Nature is putting the finishing touches on our unborn child. In this month our baby may assume the position he’ll take for delivery. Usually this is head-down, facing our back. When the head slips down into our pelvic, we’ll notice that we can breathe more easily than we could in the past few months. On the other hand, the baby’s new position may make walking and sitting more difficult. Our baby is on his way.

The delivery topic I would like to talk about in other post, because I wouldn’t like to bore you with a long post, so I will retake this subject further on. I did a summary of the most important things during pregnancy but there other no less important that I didn’t mentioned. If you like to add some interesting fact that I maybe forgot, feel free to comment.

Hope you like it and if it so, share with your friends in social media because maybe you have a relative or friends that is expecting and it could be interesting for her.

Sending you a lot of love and a big kiss

Happy start of the weekend
