At the beach in fall season……

Hace dos semanas un amigo nos invitó al cumple de su pequeño que cumplía su primer añito, la celebración fue en un sitio que aún cuando esta muy cerca de Miami, apenas a 45 minutos  en coche, no lo conocía mucho. Este sitio se llama Hollywood, como os decía se encuentra muy cerca de Miami y siempre me habían comentado que tenía unas playas maravillosas, incluso mejores que las que tenemos por aca.

El sitio donde se celebró el cumpleaños se encuentra a orillas de la playa, literalmente, una casa preciosa ideal para días de verano, o incluso, para estas fechas que ya no hay mucho movimiento de gente y se puede disfrutar de la paz y la tranqulidad que este lugar tiene. La playa ya no está en su mejor momento, puesto que aún cuando hace mucho calor, la temperatura del agua esta un tanto fria, pero aun así es un lugar idílico para ir y relajarte con los niños, sin importar la estación.

Como era una celebración informal y tan cerca de la playa me decanté por este estilismo, que aún cuando os parezca mentira, tenemos unas temperaturas altísimas todavía por acá y no hay muy buen pronóstico de momento de que comiencen a bajar, así que como siempre os digo, si os gustan los estilismos de verano, os vais a hartar……..Este pantalón de estilo palazzo, lo tengo hace mucho tiempo , es de Zara, pero además de ser muy cómodo y de poderlo combinar con prácticamente todo tipo de calzado y de tops, es super bonito por el tiro alto y su estampado de lunares, que ya sabéis me encantan.

Para la ocasión lo combiné con un pañuelo anudado al pecho, que desde que esta tendencia salió, os tengo que decir que me he vuelto adicta a ella por lo fresco y cómodo que es, siempre y cuando elijamos el pañuelo adecuado que no sea de seda y no se nos esté cayendo todo el tiempo, que no era este el caso y de calzado opté por estas maravillosas sandalias que compré en Santorini y que me fascinan, por su comodidad y lo estilosas que son, muy griegas en verdad. Por ultimo me decidí por este bolso de rejilla que para ese tipo de ocasiones es para lo único que lo veo bien realmente , pero lo cierto es que me gustó el resultado. ¿Qué os parece a vosotros?

Two weeks ago a friend invited us to his child’s birthday. It was a very especial day because the baby turns 1 year old, the celebration took part in a beautiful city near Miami, only just 45 min from here, it’s really close and even though I didn’t know it so much. This place it’s called Hollywood and it’s a small city but I have to admit that it is a lovely place. Many people since we got here to Miami told us that this place had great beaches, even better than we have here in Miami.

The birthday party was celebrated in a big and beautiful house that is located literally at the seaside, a perfect place to celebrate any other kind of activities or just to take a break and stay away from the big city. I think now is the perfect moment to spend some days there, because this is a very crowded place in summer season, so, this is the perfect moment. I have to admit that the beach right now it is not as good as we’d like because  water temperatures are a little bit cold but even so, it’s a fantastic place to go with the family and take some time to relaxation.

For the occasion I chose this fresh and summer look because it was a casual event with this palazzo pants that I bought a couple of years ago from Zara. It is very comfortable and versatile piece since you can wear it with any kind of shoes and tops. I really love it not only for its high waist that you already know that are my favorite pants, also for its polka-dot pattern that are so trendy too.

I paired it with this scarf as a top; I have to confess that since this trend arrived at the beginning of the summer I’m a fan of it, because it is very comfortable and fresh. I combined it with these amazing flat sandals that I bought at Santorini island in our last vacations that I’m in love with, they are soooo Greek. As a bag I chose this net bag that I recently purchased, honestly this tendency of net bags really like me just for this kind of places, beach, picnic etc.
