How to style a jumpsuit for a baby shower

Si me seguis desde los inicios de este blog, no os tengo que decir cuanto me gustan los monos, ya que en mas de una ocasion os he hablado de las

tantisimas maneras de combinarlos, sin importar el tipo de actividad, (podeis recordar aqui , aqui y aqui). Como os he comentado en otros post, es una pieza que para mi, no debe faltar en nuestro armario, puesto que nos saca de mas de un apuro, algo parecido me sucedio para esta ocasion, teniamos el baby shower de una amiga y como  tenia este mono desde las navidades sin estrenar, pense que seria un buen momento para usarlo. Os tengo que reconocer que es muy comodo, fresco y se adapta al cuerpo perfectamente. Para la ocasion lo combine con estas sandalias (agotadas, Similares aqui) de plataforma, que ya me habeis visto antes (aqui y aqui), porque es muy largo y aun asi, alguna que otra vez lo arrastraba por el suelo, como accesorios elegi este bolso de mano de terciopelo y estos maxi pendientes de plata que son geniales, no os parece? Este tipo de actividades, son muy dinamicas y se hacen muchos juegos para entretener a los invitados, asi que siempre hay que buscar un estilismo ademas de formal, comodo.

Para los que no esteis familiarizados con el termino de Baby Shower, aunque se que en algunos paises europeos ya se esta poniendo de moda, en muchos paises, incluyendo Los Estados Unidos, es una antigua tradicion, una fiesta donde reunir a amigos y familiares, con motivo de la celebracion del nacimiento de un hijo, donde la madre recibe muchos regalos que la ayudaran a prepararse para la llegada del pequeño.

If you followed me from the beginning of the blog you may already know that I really love jumpsuits, because as I told you before it’s a very versatile piece that you can combine with almost everything no matter the kind of event we’re attending ( remember here , here and here. This kind of items is a must have in our wardrobe cause believe me when I tell you that it will help you to chose this kind of style when you don’t know what to wear in an specific occasion. Some days ago we had a  Baby shower’s friend and I didn’t know what was the dress code, so I did a little research and realize that no matter what you chose it has to be: comfortable and formal, because its a very dynamic activity with a lot of game in order to entertain their guest. It was clear for me, I had this jumpsuit since Christmas and I didn’t know what was the perfect moment to wear it, so I decided to wear it for this occasion, I paired it with these tall wedges (sold out bur Similar Here)that you already have seen me (here and here) that were perfect because as you can see on the pics it has a very long leg. To accessorize it I combined with this velvet handbag that I really love and these maxi silver earring that are perfect, don’t you think?

If this kind of party is not familiar to you, even when nowadays its a party that many European countries already celebrate, Baby shower in many countries including the United States are considered a tradition. They are usual a small get together, that consist of women, to celebrate the arrival of a new child. The term shower means that the expectant mother will receive a lots of gifts that will help her to prepare for the baby.
